Position Overview:Snooze Australia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated full time Management Accountant to join our finance team. The Management Accountant will play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and performance
reporting.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic
objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business initiatives, including pricing strategies, cost optimization, and investment decisions.
- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency in
financial operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in management accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of
2 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems/software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent interpersonal
skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving results.
Salary offered: 70k-80k plus Super
