Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) and Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) have exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant. AGPAL and QIP are leading not-for-profit accreditation providers, specialising in the delivery of services to a diverse range of health, community and human service organisations across Australia. The primary role of the position is to support Operations and other internal departments in developing timely and accurate costings to support program pricing and tenders. Timely and accurate calculation and processing of monthly revenue recognition journals. Support and administer business projects.
The key deliverables of this role are:
- Develop relevant, timely and accurate financial and non-financial reports
- Prepare annual revenue budgets
- Ongoing revenue modelling and new program quoting / development
- Monthly revenue recognition in accord with AASB15 revenue recognition criteria
- Monthly gross margin analysis and reporting
The key attributes and skills of this are:
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification with at least two years relevant work experience (highly desirable);
- A good understanding of databases and an analytical approach to database reporting;
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures;
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Experience with MS Business Central Accounting software (desirable);
- Demonstrated high level of competency, knowledge and skills in the use of Microsoft Office products particularly Excel;
- Excellent organization and time management skills;
- High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, adheres to deadlines and timeframes, follow through and accept responsibility;
- The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously when required;
- Possess well rounded interpersonal skills.
