The role of Business Manager is diverse as much as it is rewarding. We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to support the chapter in improving and delivering streamlined business systems within finance, risk management and IT in order to achieve our organisational goals.

- Demonstrate an ability to exercise judgement, and sensitivity in supporting and liaising with families, Volunteers, supporters and providers
Ideal experience and skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business or related field
- Professional designation of Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant
- A minimum of five years financial management and reporting experience, including:
- Profit & Loss accounting, including preparing Board Reports
- Cash management and cashflow
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Strategic financial analysis and reporting (internal and external)
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Developing and reporting to KPIs
- Advanced knowledge of Payroll, FBT, Superannuation and GST
- Asset and Capital Expenditure management
- Business Case development
- Policy & Procedure development
- Credit control
- Understanding of fundraising including maintaining Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
- Management of the integrity of databases to ensure the integrity of the data.
Candidates with experience in not-for-profit fundraising and the applicable taxation rules, along with the ability to work autonomously will be highly regarded. Experience or exposure to managing staff/volunteers would also be considered advantageous.
