Our client, Steel Dale Industries Pty Ltd. is a renowned heavy engineering company working in Steel Fabrication (Mechanical/Structural), Pipe Fabrication, Blasting & Painting, Mechanical Integration, from design & engineering in applications across Mining Industry, Agricultural Industry, Infrastructure Projects, Heavy industry and Commercial steel construction.
The client is looking to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Management Consultant to ensure the business has the right strategy in place to operate efficiently and increase profitability. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders and will provide expert advice to improve performance and efficiency in various aspects like business planning, project planning & delivery, and ERP Implementation, which will create value, maximize growth, and improve business performance.
This role will be responsible for the development of insights and quality output on projects, building client relationships and contributing to strategic consulting assignments.
You will be responsible for analysing business data, improving business operational planning, developing and implementing programs and solutions to resolve business productivity issues. You will be responsible for setting up the meaningful goals and plan for actions and involvement.
The outstanding candidate will have a proven ability to work independently as a confident, proficient Management Consultant. You are highly creative, organized and proactive with a high-level attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for developing and carrying out communications to the company's senior stakeholders, company staff, and internal and external project teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in a related discipline
- Candidates for the position should be highly motivated individuals who possess excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities and a keen business sense
- Providing advisory services in business improvement, productivity enhancement, financial accounting, human resource development and the efficient operation of Steel Dale Industries
- Analysing business data, improving business operational planning, developing and implementing programs and solutions to resolve business productivity issues
- Assist the Senior Management to develop and implement a companywide performance framework which aligns performance metrics throughout the company
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting information on the business and financial viability and cost structures
- Developing appropriate methodologies to successfully meet project requirements and produce deliverables with appropriate detail and complexity
- Establish and maintain positive customer relations to achieve business goals and full customer satisfaction
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key industry individuals to optimise the future market position of Steel Dale Industries
- Collaborate closely with key client staff members to develop organizational business plans
- Analyze and synthesize all research findings - qualitative and quantitative - to identify key market implications and strategic challenges
- Contribute to the design and implementation of business development campaigns and plans to maximise market profile, market share and revenue
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, management of expectations and issues, to ensure reporting deliverables are met
- Develop efficient and effective solutions to project and organisational issues
- Support business development activities including preparation of proposals
- Contribute to the development of project management, quality assurance and professional consulting and auditing approaches/methodologies
- Identify areas for improvement within the business and feed this back to Steel Dale leadership
