About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy Director: Student Engagement, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Access and Inclusion Services team whose core purpose is to provide advice, assess eligibility for adjustments and create Access Plans for UniSA students impacted by disability, illness or learning differences. You will provide high level advice to all areas of the university to support policy development, planning and the integration of inclusive design and practice across the University.

is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of student facing services that will enhance the on-campus and off-campus student experience for all students. The SEU also takes strategic steps to inform the quality of the student experience of learning and teaching, support services, the learning environment, and student facilities. SEU services include Orientation, UniSA Sport, Career Services, Student Life, Student Wellbeing, Student Counselling, International Student Support, Learning Advice, Wirringka Student Services, and Access and Inclusion Services.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Allied Health or related field and a demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity, inclusion and person-centred practice
- Extensive experience leading and managing service delivery teams in the disability or rehabilitation sector
- A deep understanding of reasonable adjustments and Disability Discrimination legislation relevant to higher education
- A deep understanding of the broader implications of intersectionality and diversity in contemporary Australia, including an understanding of the challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills appropriate to working with a diverse range of audiences, including the ability to translate complex policy into practice
- Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders to influence and facilitate attitudinal change
