Form of workAn exciting opportunity exists to join this rapidly growing organisation providing Advisory Services to the Retail Energy Sector.
This role will manage Advisory Services within the Regulatory and Compliance function. You will be required to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, advising them on policy changes to regulations and assisting them to make the required changes in order to maintain their obligations to remain complaint.
The role will involve working closely with senior business stakeholders, taking a proactive role in monitoring for changes, becoming a key industry contact, and providing input into the development and maintenance of effective policies associated with clients meeting their obligations. You will be responsible for monitoring industry change; impact assessing change and providing Advisory Services to clients to action.
To be successful in this role, extensive knowledge is required of the legal, regulatory and compliance obligations for the retail energy sector. You will be a point of contact for this knowledge within our customer base.
You will have a strong understanding of electricity and gas business processes and procedures; including industry codes and agreements together with an understanding of IT systems operating in the electricity and gas market.
Ideal candidates will have a background working in a regulatory and compliance role within an energy retailer at a senior level. You will be comfortable leading a team and working closely with senior business leaders in an advisory capacity.
You will have excellent documentation and presentation skills together with good verbal and written communication skills. You will thrive on the challenge of working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
