The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic leader to drive innovation and transformational change across Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS).
Working closely with the Executive Director, DVS leadership team and senior leaders across the wider Department of Transport, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development and implementation of DVS strategic plan, vision and goals. This role will see you driving organisational transformation and leading the implementation of Strategic Asset, People Plans and Investment strategies for the business unit. You will monitor and evaluate DVS performance against its targets, as well as identifying emerging trends, issues and opportunities that my impact DVS’ operations, services and policies.
We’re seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in strategic planning, policy implementation, and digital transformation. As the driving force behind innovation and collaboration, you’ll inspire cross-functional teams and lead organisational change. The Director Strategic Planning and Investment opportunity is available for three (3) years with the possibility of extension and or permanency.
The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first appointment.
