About the role
The Lead - Maintenance Engineering manages the continuous improvement of the maintenance strategies for the assets that support the regional business achieve its objectives across safety, quality, delivery and cost. This includes managing the asset integrity assurance and reliability improvement programs and delivery and continuous improvement of the maintenance work management process for the maintenance within region.
What you will be doing
Key Accountabilities Ensures all equipment across the region has criticality ranking assigned and appropriate maintenance strategies in place within SAP that enable and optimise performance. Implements and continuously improves (check and act) the integrity assurance program to assure continuity of the region's License to Operate. Develops and implements the Maintenance Engineering continuous improvement pipeline to improve performance of all equipment across the region. Prepares the long term preventative maintenance plan for execution by the sub-region Asset team through a prioritised process aligned to regional objectives and supported by consistent and optimised planning and scheduling. Ensures maintenance work management and plant reliability metrics are reported on and improvement recommendations are made and implemented as justified. Scopes, plans and executes major maintenance events (excluding breakdowns) with support throughout from the sub-region Asset team. Supports the management of strategic sourcing contracts required to efficiently execute the regional maintenance strategy with Supply Chain.

* Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
* Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
* Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
* Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
* Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
* Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
BAND E TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
* Minimum 7 years experience post professional qualification.
* Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
* Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
* Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
* Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
