The Opportunity

This role is accountable for partnering with the business to provide support, advice and delivery enablement relating to data and analytics outcomes. This role will have end to end accountability for aligning great Data & Analytics with the right problem for the right people.

Help us achieve our goals by articulating the value proposition of Data & Analytics to all levels of the organisation and making Data & Analytics outcomes accessible to all business units, regardless of their level of data literacy or capability.

  • Collaborate and coach UniSuper staff to understand data and analytics requests change and work required to support strategic outcomes
  • Lead the management of risks, dependencies and issues relating to Data Office delivery capability
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to effectively prioritise and sequence work relating to minor and major Data & Analytics outcomes
  • Facilitate and lead discovery, root cause analysis, design and solution development sessions with Senior Stakeholders and Data Office
  • Lead RCA sessions when issues get escalated
  • Support the embedding of processes and tools to improve maturity of delivery assurance, design frameworks and Data & Analytics outcomes
  • Partner to deliver and co-create a Data Culture and Data Literacy program
  • Promote and apply change management principles to ensure stakeholders have a consistent understanding of delivery and change in their Data & Analytics outcomes.
  • Design and deliver on an ongoing outreach and engagement program relating to the Data & Analytics capabilities for the fund

About you

  • 10-12 years of experience in a professional or financial services/diverse industry experience environment managing and working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading a team and/or working as part of a squad (and Tribe) within an agile working environment.
  • Experience working with data specialists across different capabilities (Governance, Data Science, Data Modellers, Visualisers and Analysts)
  • Relevant qualifications in Information Systems, Data & Analytics or Product Management
  • Ability to manage small projects or Change Requests as needed during peak periods in Data Office.
  • Strong strategic nous and ability to lead innovative change that delivers outcomes and value
  • Pragmatic and logical in approach and decision making
  • Results focussed and outcome driven
