Overview:
This position provides operational and procedural leadership to:
- Health Facility Licensing Officers to efficiently and effectively deliver administrative and legislative activities committed to the Minister responsible for the Health Care Act 2008 (SA), and
- Clinical Regulation Policy team to support the development and implementation of branch-wide regulatory reform.
The key functions of this role include:
- Leading the Health Facility Licensing Officers through effective decision making and judgment to enable staff to exercise delegated powers under the Health Care Act 2008 (SA).
- Planning and managing the efficient functioning and effective deployment of Clinical Regulation Policy and Licensing resources.
- Developing, leading and managing a range of complex projects designed to contribute to legislative compliance and legislative reform.
