Ongoing full-time opportunity
Salary ranging from $139,787 to $161,663pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation (11%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)
Your role
As the Manager Coronial Operations reporting to the Director Coronial Jurisdiction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the delivery of coronial support services across New South Wales.
Your strong leadership skills, commitment to service excellence along with the capacity to achieve a detailed understanding of Coronial Jurisdiction will see you excel in this role.
What you'll do
The Manager Coronial Operations is responsible for operational delivery of consistent high-quality coronial services through a network of court registries state-wide.
Manage the day-to-day operations within the fast paced and challenging work environment of the Lidcombe Coronial Operations unit.
Facilitate training, mentorship and professional development opportunities that help staff achieve operational expertise.
Collaborate with external stakeholders including the NSW Police Force and NSW Health Pathology (Forensic Medicine) to ensure a co-ordinated approach to coronial support services across NSW.
Represent Communities and Justice at interagency meetings, provide reports to Court Services, the State Coroner, committees and other working groups.
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in law/management or equivalent experience.
- Capacity to quickly achieve a detailed understanding of the NSW Coronial Jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff, and promote collaboration and teamwork.
- Demonstrated knowledge of case management principles combined with advanced technical writing skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced work environment.
