The Opportunity:
A key management role that will see you overseeing service delivery to ensure enhanced client satisfaction and an engaged and positive workforce culture. You will be responsible for implementing the strategic direction for cleaning and maintenance operations across Victoria.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure safe practices, strategic resource utilisation and client satisfaction are prioritised.
- Ensuring adequate service delivery planning and implementation, including ad hoc and periodical work.
- Ensuring high standards are consistently achieved, being flexible to meet changing operational needs and implementing new initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and best practices are continually delivered.
- Building superior relationships with clients, consistently exceeding expectations and troubleshooting effectively issues that might arise
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a dedicated team of Operations Managers to ensure the highest quality of service delivery and ensuring company values and team camaraderie are developed at all team levels.
- Managing and reporting on all operational budgets with full transparency including forecasted spending.

Your Skillsets/Background:
Our client is looking for the right attitude and spark to be the face of operations in Victoria. This opportunity could suit an Operations Manager or Contract Manager looking to step up into a State Manager's opening or someone already skilled in this area.
- Prior experience in cleaning, maintenance and facilities services is paramount, with experience in the education sector - Universities, independent schools, and childcare advantageous.
- Strong leadership, team management and people management skills.
- Commercial acumen and prior experience managing budgets of circa $10 - $25 million.
- Superior communication and client relationship management skills, with the ability to identify and grow the value of existing contracts by offering additional services.
