This is a three (3) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2024 with possible twelve (12) month extension and/or permanencyBusselton Senior High School (SHS) is seeking an experienced, motivated and highly organised individual to fill the position of Manager Corporate Services.The Manager Corporate Services is a strategic leader in a school and is responsible for implementing sound consistent management and budgeting practices and systems. The successful applicant will have well established financial management capabilities, be a strategic leader and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. With the Principal, you will lead physical, financial and human resources across the school, review current school financial practices and implement improvements. You will ideally be flexible and reliable and able to work independently with autonomy. Proven experience in a Year 7 to 12 Senior High School would be highly regarded.The successful applicant will lead the Allied Professional Team with a strong team ethos and a solution focussed outlook and focusing on delivering improved outcomes. As a member of the leadership team, the Manager Corporate Services will share the responsibility for inspiring and leading allied professionals in their commitment to the core values of the school.You will develop, implement and monitor effective asset management and coordination, and lead strategies for school facilities, equipment and buildings. You will be competent in the use and management of ICT and be able to provide strategic advice and support in managing ICT across the school.The Manager Corporate Services is intrinsically involved in the implementation of the school's Business Plan and the implementation of changes necessary for the progression of our priorities.The successful applicant should have a broad understanding of relevant legislation, reporting and governance requirements relating to the role, and the ability to lead both strategically and operationally.Busselton SHS strives to be an outstanding, inclusive school that effectively responds to the social, wellbeing and educational needs of our community. - A four (4) page statement addressing the Work Related Requirements (selection criteria), in context of the role and business needs of the school
- A CV of up to five (5) pages outlining your employment history and professional learning summary relevant to this position

- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy.
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment.
