Job DescriptionAs the
Food & Beverage Manager, you will manage the day to day operations which include the resort restaurant, villa catering, lounge bar, conferencing & events and a pool bar. We are looking for someone who will represent our friendly and professional 5 star service philosophy. This role is reporting into the Director of Operations.You are a naturally confident person who is able to lead and inspire a large team of colleagues. Passionate for all things
Food & Beverage, you will create luxe experiences for our guests through inspiring the team to create peak moments each and every day.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate a consistent approach to customer service in each and every interaction with our guests, suppliers, team members and local community.
- Coach the department supervisors so that their personal development is allowing them to perform at their best.
- Ensuring department training to maintain a 5 star service standard.
- Conduct reviews of current products and service to enhance the resort offerings.
- Financial management of the Food & Beverage profit and loss to ensure month by month budgeted gross operation is achieved.
- Complete administrational duties which includes but not limited to; month end reporting, rostering, ordering, budget preparation, forecasting and menu engineering.
- Ensure compliance within all Accor Internal Control Audit requirements.
Qualifications- Australian working rights.
- Experience in managing P&L’s including budgeting, forecasting, payroll planning and cost control.
- Previous experience in a Resort and/or a Luxury property within a similar role will be highly regarded.
- A passion for people and a strong desire to develop your team to the best of their abilities.
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to provide luxe service behaviours.
