About the role:
The Curriculum Manager leads and managers project and operational teams to develop, deliver and monitor RANZCR curricula within the Specialty Training Programs. Providing high level support to committees to optimise learning outcomes.
Manage the development of RANZCR’s Learning Outcomes through consultation and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
Lead and oversee project development and implementation across activities related to curriculum
Ensure the activities and initiatives of the training program meet the medical accreditation standards
Ensure current legislative, regulatory development and industry trends are kept up to date
Lead and oversee curriculum implementation, while providing expert advice and briefings to senior management and committees
Provide advise and improvement on curriculum and assessment development and implementation of training
Provide support and training to Directors of Training and Clinical Supervisors
General HR responsibilities; management of staff, empowering of employees, delegation of responsibilities, performance appraisals, performance feedback, etc.
Other duties as necessary
Skills and experience:
Experience working in Association and Memberships, Peak Body, Not-For-Profit or Healthcare is highly desirable
Proven experience in Educational / Curriculum development, policy and standard in adult education essential
Experience in leadership and general management
Appropriate post-graduate qualifications in education or related disciplines
Proven ability to transform strategic objectives into operational plans, with track record in Curriculum Development and management
Outstanding communication and relationships building, ability to interact with high level internal and external stakeholders
Experience in program development and management, process optimisation and resource management
Experience in facilitating technical information from multiple sources and knowledge of current training trends desirable
Strong strategic background with ability to work to a high level with extensive workload and strict deadlines
