Job description

Permanent – Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to take on the position of Manager Customer Contact.

Council’s Customer Contact Group is the primary point of telephone, written correspondence and face-to-face contact for residents, local businesspersons and others wishing to obtain information or arrange action relating to a wide range of council functions, facilities, and services.

This position will contribute to the customer experience across council as it relates to the contact points for information.

ABOUT YOU

  • Extensive experience in the management of complex, contemporary customer service environments involving the delivery of a broad range of services.
  • An experienced leader, with a strong record in coaching and performance support to allow the customer service team to excel. 
  • Well-developed project management skills including an understanding of process mapping and process re-engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation skills, negotiation skills and the ability to adjust communication and tactics or priorities in response to organisation or audience requirements.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

A base salary between $99,127 and $113,928 will be negotiated with the preferred candidate + 12.5% superannuation and a 19-day month.  A guaranteed 2.5% salary increase applies to this salary (or CPI) in July 2024.
