About Your Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager Digital, Technology and Information, you will enjoy leading the delivery of an enterprise Cyber Security strategy and program of initiatives to ensure Seqwater has the cybersecurity foundations required to confidently deliver on its business goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities:

• Define and manage Seqwater's Cyber Security monitoring and incident response capability whilst providing uplift to organisational awareness and controls for Seqwater's Information Assets.
• Establish and manage the Cyber Security capabilities required to ensure Seqwater's information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes are adequately protected.
• Lead the team that provides Cyber Security operations, services and training across IT and OT environment: maintaining and calibrating existing cyber tools, technologies, and systems (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability management tools, endpoint security, firewalls, etc.).
• Maintain organisational wide awareness of threats and vulnerabilities to Seqwater assets and infrastructure, and feed that into Risk Treatment planning.
• Manage Cyber Risk in conjunction with the broader Risk Management groups.
• Lead incident response and drive resolution on a diverse range of IT/OT cyber vulnerabilities and incidents, performing trend and root cause analysis.
• Provide regular reporting on the status of information security and the Cyber Security program and present key findings and recommendations to key stakeholders at the executive and board levels.
• Lead enterprise vulnerability management to improve the identification, recording, tracking and remediation of vulnerabilities.

About you
Professional qualifications in a technology related discipline (e.g. computer science, information and systems management or system engineering) will be complemented with relevant security qualifications and/or training
Agile in your approach, you will demonstrate:

• Experience leading a Cyber Security function in a dynamic and complex change environment, including successfully building cohesive and engaged teams and leading them through change
• Experience managing operational Cyber Security tools and technologies
• Knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions, and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security with the capacity to successfully implement
• Exceptional interpersonal, consultation, oral, and written communication skills, with proven capability to collaborate and build effective partnerships with teams cross the organisation.

With a penchant for seeking new and innovative ways of working, you will enjoy devising innovative solutions to complex queries, drawing upon your detailed understanding of Cyber Security
