About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage a team to provide sustained and consistent implementation of Early Childhood specific initiatives, prioritising the participation and engagement of all children in development and learning pathways; and in quality transitions, that lead to successful educational outcomes and wellbeing.
- Identify, assess and deliver on strategic Early Childhood issues and provide advice to the Director and senior management.
- Provide strategic direction in the development of project plans, including risk management strategies, high level data analysis and key performance measures.
- Establish evaluation and monitoring systems to assess the success of Early Childhood initiatives, programs, strategies and policies in regions and communicate these outcomes to key stakeholders and clients.
- Lead the development of high-quality correspondence associated with priority projects and initiatives.
- Monitor performance and capability of staff and develop and implement strategies to strengthen knowledge, business systems and team performance to meet the needs of prioritised communities and State Delivered Kindergartens.
