About the Opportunity

The manager of Employee Wellbeing and Rehabilitation collaborates closely with the business to implement employee-centered programs aimed at enhancing, sustaining, or restoring the health and well-being of employees across the business, to foster a safer and healthier workplace environment.

This role offers support and involves managing our injury cases through workers' compensation and early intervention programs. You'll have the chance to showcase your strong collaborative, customer-focused, and problem-solving skills.

This role reports into the Executive Manager of Development People and Culture and is part of the broader People and culture team which consists of Human Resources, Systems, Talent Acquisition and Education, Development & Capability.

Key Responsbilities

  • Design, implement, and manage return-to-work programs for both work related and non-work related injuries
  • Launch and promote health initiatives that emphasise employee well-being and injury prevention
  • Perform regular case reviews with relevant parties, utilising best-practice methods to quickly identify and resolve recovery obstacles while ensuring ongoing engagement in the return-to-work process.
  • Offer expert rehabilitation guidance and advice on the Workers Compensation and health policies to ensure proper execution and monitoring of injury management procedures.
  • Manage necessary data systems and provide regular, precise, and dependable reports to management.
  • Additional duties include overseeing service levels of our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other insurance providers, developing and managing Goodwin's well-being monitoring program, and generating reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Essential

  • Completion of RTW Coordinator course or ability to complete
  • Demonstrated sound injury management skills and a proven effectiveness to secure positive outcomes in complex Workers' Compensation matters
  • Experience in managing injury claims, case management and application of risk management principles
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise work in a timely and efficient manner

Desirable

  • Hold relevant qualifications in health & wellbeing, rehabilitation, or allied health disciplines.
  • Background in Occupational Therapy or mental health would be advantageous.

Salary

  • $100K - $104K + Super
