The Opportunity

As Manager Financial Reporting you will lead, develop and manage the Financial Reporting Team. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies and procedures, as related to Financial Reporting. Another key element of this role will be providing high level advice to senior staff on Financial Reporting issues.

We have 1 x permanent fulltime position available for immediate filling.

  • Demonstrate experience in the practical application of accounting policies and Financial Reporting standards and practices and in the preparation of financial statements
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills

  • Organise and prioritise workload to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure delivery of excellent customer service
  • Use conceptual and analytical skills to resolve complex issues

  1. A detailed CV that clearly outlines the skills and experience you have gained in relation to the job description; and
  2. A written statement (maximum three (3) pages) addressing only the following selection criteria (SC):
  • (SC1) Substantial experience in the practical application of accounting policies and Financial Reporting standards and practices and in the preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • (SC3) Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • (SC5) Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to solve problems of a complex nature.
  1. Copy of your tertiary qualification and full membership of or progress towards full membership of CA ANZ or CPA Australia
  2. The CV must contain the complete names and contact information of two (2) referees who can provide feedback on the applicant's capacity to meet all the Essential Work-Related Requirements. At least one of the referees should be the applicant's immediate (most recent) supervisor/manager unless there are exceptional circumstances.
