Manager Funding and Reporting

An exciting new leadership opportunity has just opened up for a Manager, Funding and Reporting at a large, values-based healthcare organisation. In this role, you will provide high level strategic financial management and commercial support by negotiating, managing, and maintaining the budgetary, activity and financial plan to deliver services within the funding constraint.

The Manager, Funding and Reporting role in the Department of Health will provide financial leadership, expert advice and business analysis to the relevant management and stakeholders including the Director of Financial Performance Monitoring & Analysis and the Director of Financial Business Partnering in matters relating to all financial, service costing, system development and funding models.

The Manager, Funding and Reporting in Finance and Business Services reports to the Director, Financial Performance Management and Analysis and leads the team that directly supports the Financial Business Partnering Unit.

What we are looking for:

• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and expert advice on all financial management issues to senior management, especially clinicians.
• Demonstrated business analysis, commercial advisory, including costing skills/analysis, financial modelling, economic modelling, with an overall commercial / outcomes-based perspective.
• Demonstrated experience and success in the development of and use of key performance indicators and analysis in monitoring and interpreting budgetary performance
• Demonstrated expertise in the use of information management technology and financial systems, together with experience in the research, review, interpretation, and analysis of information and in formulating recommendations and reports to senior management within large complex organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior management, together with high level communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, along with demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team with multiple responsibilities and timeframes spanning several areas/divisions.
