Come and join the dynamic team delivering Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport, the lynchpin of the extraordinary transformation currently underway to develop Sydney's third city and Aerotropolis. One of the largest infrastructure projects underway in Australia, Western Sydney International will open to international, domestic and air cargo services in late 2026 and will eventually grow to be one of Australia's biggest gateways to the world. About the OpportunityThis position is a key role in delivering the Ground Access strategy for Western Sydney International Airport. You'll be working closely with the Executive Manager Car Parks& Ground Transport to create an exceptional customer proposition leveraging a greenfield site, focusing on achieving a future-proof sustainable revenue stream, and ensuring digital enablement is at the heart of the offering. The role will evolve from being part of the delivery team to managing the final offering, including the operations of the Car Park, contract management of Car rental agencies and all 3rd party Ground Transport activities. This position will connect across WSA, inspiring and leading everyone to have the customer at the heart of the Car Park and Ground Transport experience. Key responsibilities: Strategy development support and implementation to deliver and exceed revenue targets.Sustaining Car park and Ground transport revenue.Development and delivery of the Car Park product and customer engagement strategy.Support the project management plan for the delivery and opening ensuring technology and assets are in place.Create a framework for the commercialisation of services and key brand partnership opportunities.Implement outcomes from ROI and tender for the outsourcing of Car Park management.Implement outcomes from ROI and tender for car rental agency operations.Prepare and implement staff parking policy, agreements, and user experience.Collaborate and meet regularly with industry stakeholders such as the Taxi Council, NSWHC and BusNSW.Prepare an operations policy, plan and procedures manual to cover any eventuality.Drive a culture of innovation to create business cases that position WSA with a clear point of difference.Provide incisive global perspectives of the airport industry, Car Parking and Ground Transport.Collaborate with peers and colleagues to leverage digital technologies across the business.Develop relationships with key partners who can support and enhance the customer offering at WSI.Promote WSA's airport, retail and property capability as an innovative and trusted airport.About You Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Business discipline or equivalent (preferred).Post graduate qualifications highly regarded - Masters, MBA or equivalent.Minimum of 10 years' experience in Car Park and Ground Transport at executive level with a track record of strategy development and implementation.Previous aviation / airport industry experience preferred.Strong understanding of customer advocacy data and how research supports and informs experience development.A mature professional possessing judgement, a disciplined approach, strong professional standards, a high level of personal credibility and integrity.A highly energetic, driven and passionate individual who is naturally 'hands-on' and takes ownership of their work.Outstanding leadership skills and high-level experience inspiring and empowering team members to achieve excellence.A team player who has played a role to an inclusive and collaborative culture.Track record of strong relationships and influence that has delivered lasting relationships with external parties.Outstanding business and commercial acumen.Advanced skills in risk management, application of and mitigation in a matrixed organisationAbility to generate value whilst managing costs.Strong influencing and negotiation skills from a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholdersHighly developed verbal and written communication skills that has engaged and influenced community and stakeholders.An ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and remaining resilient, flexible and outcomes-focused in a high-pressure environment.
