About the position
Bond University is offering a new leadership position within a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team in a faculty where our culture emphasises integrity, courage, and respect, and has a strong focus on wellbeing and professional development.
In this position, the Manager - Health Clinics will have high-level accountability for developing, leading, and managing the delivery of services from our new health clinic. This new health clinic will provide clinical experience and placements to Bond University students, while servicing the public initially in the areas of Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Occupational Therapy. Our new health clinic will include approximately 22 consultation rooms, group therapy areas, and all associated administration services and logistics, which will also include support to Bond University’s Psychology Clinic.
The administrative team reporting directly to the Manager - Health Clinics will provide a range of administrative support to Clinical Supervisors, Heads of Program, Placement Students and the public, while ensuring integration with other services and compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation, along with University and Faculty policies, procedures, and guidelines.
The Manager - Health Clinics will be based at the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic located at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport in Robina on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
About the person
We are looking for an energetic, positive, and service-oriented leader with significant experience to become an integral member of our collaborative Management Team in a busy and growing environment.
Furthermore, you will be interested both in continuous improvement and in ongoing professional development.
We are looking for someone with at least five years of relevant experience who has:
Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of public health clinics (or similar, with transferable skills), including an understanding of relevant clinical governance and business systems;
Demonstrated capability to oversight the delivery of services to the public with consideration of safety, quality, and compliance.
Demonstrated capacity to develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders including advanced communication, engagement, problem solving, negotiation, and mediation skills with stakeholders at all levels;
High-level skills in the leadership and management of resources including staff, finances, supplies, equipment, and infrastructure;
Demonstrated excellence in delivering client services including excellence in service, identifying and mitigating risks, managing contracts, responding to complaints, and advising on legal and policy issues; and
Demonstrated experience in systems improvement and governance.
Post-graduate qualifications in health or business and previous experience in leading allied health clinics and supporting University students will also be an advantage.

The salary for the position will commence at $99,310.10 (Full Time Equivalent) plus 10.5% superannuation per annum.
