Job description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ICT procurement and licensing? Do you thrive in high-stakes negotiation environments and excel in fostering collaborative partnerships? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to steer the future of procurement and software licensing within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
We are seeking a Manager of ICT Procurements, Licensing, and Finance to lead our team through complex contract negotiations, procurement processes, and software release cycles. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Digital, Data, and Technology Solutions (DDTS) department and external agencies, ensuring seamless integration and upgrades that support our strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of procurement processes, combined with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Your emotional intelligence will be key in adjusting your communication style to different audiences, building trust and demonstrating leadership that inspires confidence among clients and team members alike.
With a knack for managing multiple projects simultaneously, you will prioritise effectively, solve problems pragmatically, and know when to escalate issues to achieve the best outcomes. Your self-motivation, responsiveness, and initiative, coupled with sound judgment, professional resilience, and a personal drive, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
If you're someone who can think on their feet, work efficiently under pressure, and deliver high-quality advice and outcomes that align with CIT's strategic goals, we would love to hear from you. Join us in this exciting role where your contributions will have a lasting impact on the way we manage ICT procurements, licensing, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, co-ordinating, managing, documenting, and providing advice on ICT software licensing, contracts and procurement arrangements to CIT.
  • Effectively applying procurement, contract and project management principles, relevant policy and governance to identify and formulate workable solutions for strategic and operational procurement projects.
  • Producing high quality documentation across the ICT procurement and contract management lifecycle and reporting information as required, such as briefing material, communication artefacts, status updates etc.
  • Successfully negotiating, evaluating, and executing ICT contract agreements.
  • Ensuring all ICT systems in use have valid service contracts and are being operated within the agreed financial budget and forecasts and other agreed financial metrics.
  • This position may involve direct supervision of staff.

Note: The selection process may be based on applications and referee reports only. A merit pool will be established from this recruitment process that may be used to fill identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
How to Apply: Interested candidates, showcase your expertise in a concise two-page application and curriculum vitae of no more than three pages, against the attached Position Description. Highlight your skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
