About the role
As a Business Analyst at Vectiq, you will collaborate with our developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to drive the successful development and implementation of both technical and process-driven solutions. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of business analysis activities from initiation to completion across a variety of projects, all within a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth and learning.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, document, and improve business processes.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and developers to identify, verify, and document requirements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and navigate through competing priorities.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Adapt and apply Agile methodologies appropriately to fit the project environment.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and product demonstrations.
- Create process maps, user journeys, and other technical artifacts to support project needs.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate business users on new systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of systems before release to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to find solutions to technical and process challenges.
- Support project planning and prioritisation, providing timeline estimates to keep projects on track.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to technical stakeholders, SMEs, and business users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of proposing solutions to complex issues.
- Proven experience applying business analysis methodologies within Agile and hybrid environments.
- Effective prioritisation and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Proficiency with issue management software, such as Jira or GitHub Projects.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new systems and streamline complex processes.
- Confidence in facilitating workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- NV1 Security clearance
Desirable:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experience in skills transfer, coaching and developing team members
