About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high level strategic advice on policy, operational, governance and communication matters to ensure the delivery of programs using highly effective, coordinated and integrated programs, projects, resources and initiatives which support First Nations students to realise their full potential.
- Liaise with staff in other divisions, departments and external stakeholders in order to brief senior regional officers on emergent and critical issues that may require sensitive management and/or immediate attention of culturally capable programs and initiatives including co-design for First Nations students and implementing First Nations languages in schools.
- Lead the collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, committees and working groups to support First Nations students.
- Lead and manage project teams to achieve outcomes within time and cost limitations to support First Nations students.
- Ensure effective communication, integration, coordination and liaison occurs across the region and with other external stakeholders.
Four permanent vacancies are sought to be filled from the recruitment process in the following regions. Please outline in your written statement any locations you would like to be considered for;
