As the Manager, Legal, reporting to the Director, Legal, your responsibilities will include:
- Legal Advice and Service: Provide timely and commercial legal advice on commercial investment and transactional arrangements. Manage the legal aspects of investment transactions, including negotiation of terms and coordination of investment management agreements. Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and operational arrangements.
- Risk Management: Work with the Legal team to manage legal risk, monitor legislation and regulatory developments, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies. Drive continuous improvement of the Legal team function by developing precedents, policies, and procedures.
- Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with external lawyers and professional advisors. Support other team members and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to collaborative work environments and strategic initiatives.
