We are currently seeking a full time Manager to oversee and drive our NDIS Support Coordination program based in our Belconnen Office.
About the role
The Manager, Support Coordination is responsible for leading a dedicated team of Support Coordinators across the ACT, ensuring that they deliver high-quality services for participants that are aligned with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) objectives. At the forefront of our Support Coordination services are empowering our participants to make choices that allow them to make connections with their preferred service providers and to achieve their personal goals.
This role will encompass strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and the seamless integration of services with a focus on high standards of quality and compliance, while also overseeing program development with continuous improvement and participant-centered services as our main focus.
Primary responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload
- Lead and manage the Support Coordination team, ensuring they receive adequate training, development, support and supervision.
- Monitoring, reviewing and allocation of caseload to ensure the correct fit between client and staff as well as optimal efficiency.
- Manage day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks, including:
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting on the team’s progress and KPI’s.
- Ensuring staff complete accurate records and progress reports on all participants.
- Other general administrative duties as directed.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure individual and overall service KPIs are achieved.
- Lead, strategies and ensure the effective delivery of Support Coordination services in an efficient manner
- Develop strong partnerships with NDIS representatives, working within their standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other NDIS and disability stakeholders to establish a mutual goal of coordinating service delivery and developing effective links.
- Oversee the efficient and effective delivery of services, managing to a budget, ensuring the best outcomes for our participants.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant NDIS guidelines and state regulations, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
Selection Criteria
- Experience as a NDIS Support Coordinator or Coordination Manager
- Relevant Qualifications such as Diploma of Community Services
- Experience in team management
- Background and understanding of service delivery
- Sound understanding of the use of technology in delivery of services.
- Extensive skills in relationship building and management, particularly with government agencies and other service organizations.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, including the use of sound judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated positive and flexible approach, including the ability to work effectively and drive performance within a rapidly changing environment
- Passionate about provision of high-quality person-centered supports for participants
- Sound knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation
- Successfully acquire all worker screening including WWVP with NDIS activities
