What does a typical day look like?
As Manager Operations Performance, you will be responsible for working with our business leadership teams to ensure performance management of all operational and logistic activities.
You will support and assist the General Manager with the operational performance activities by monitoring operational and strategic projects through the establishment of routine reporting, robust project management framework and business improvement support tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
•Liaising with unit leadership on day-to-day operational performance activities and results of the unit and develops business enhancement solutions based on short- and long-term needs
•Driving resolution of major business performance needs and performance with dnata catering units
•Developing and implementing continuous improvement strategy with sensitivity towards efficient and effective operational performance results across all areas of the units
•Supporting the strategic planning, co-ordination and communication of all operational performance activities through providing insights and analysis that contribute to problem solving
•Developing and presenting business performance improvement proposal recommendations on unit and national operational service procedures and quality standards
•Reporting on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success
•Analyse, prepare and provide regular reports to management with non-performance operational indicators, support appropriate action planning in the unit to eliminate or manage
•Developing effective internal and external relationships to foster co-operation and commitment to delivering increased customer satisfaction.
•Enforcing and promotes company operational policies and procedures with all unit team members
•Coordinating the development and control of the company’s standards and policy governance framework and make improvement/adjustment recommendations, where required
•Motivating and inspiring team members by creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
•Role modelling dnata catering values: safety and security, performance driven, delighting customers, imagination, respect and service excellence
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
•Demonstrated success in a similar role
•Experience in Lean management applications, such as “6 sigma” and related accreditation.
•Experience in working for a rapidly expanding organisation with multiple locations
•Excellent understanding of operational requirements
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to deal with complex issues
•Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
