About the Role 

Reporting to the General Manager, Brand and Partnerships, this role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other internal teams such as Marketing, People and Capability, and other Senior Leaders.   

As an integral part of our 2024-28 strategic vision at Richmond Wellbeing (RW), the Manager, Partnerships, and Impact will play a pivotal role in enhancing our financial resilience and fostering agility to capitalise on opportunities for impactful change.    

The role will develop and implement viable alternate income streams including a strategic approach to philanthropy and fundraising as well as promoting our expertise through social enterprise and holding income-generating activities or events.    

Strategic Planning and Implementation: 

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for diversifying income stream with an emphasis on philanthropy, fundraising, and social enterprise ventures.  

  • Collaborate with the executive team and senior leaders to align income generation goals with the organisation’s vision, purpose, and values.  

Philanthropic Program Development: 

  • Create and execute a comprehensive philanthropic program aligned with RW’s vision, mission, and values.   

  • Build relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporations supporting mental health initiatives.  

Fundraising Campaigns: 

  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative, strategic fundraising campaigns, leveraging both traditional and digital channels.    

  • Develop creative and Impactful messaging to inspire donor participation.  

  • Implement donor stewardship for ongoing communication and recognition.  

Social Enterprise Development: 

  • Identify and assess potential social enterprise opportunities related to mental health awareness and skills training.  

  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of social enterprise initiatives, ensuring sustainability and positive social impact.  

Grant Acquisition and Management: 

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with RW’s programs and initiatives.  

  • Develop a systematic approach to prospecting and prioritizing grant opportunities.  

Brand and Events:  

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to promote the organisation’s social enterprise ventures and fundraising efforts.  

  • Enhance the organisation’s public profile through effective communication of its vision, impact and income generating initiatives.  

Partnership Building:  

  • Cultivate relationships with businesses, foundations, and individuals supporting mental health initiatives.  

  • Collaborate with government agencies, corporate partners, and community organisations.  

Budget Management and Reporting:  

  • Collaborate on budgets for income-generating activities.  

  • Ensure financial sustainability and accountability.  

  • Establish KPIs and provide regular reports on outcomes and social impact.  

Organisational Leadership:  

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.  

  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to align income generating activities within the organisation’s overall operations and strategic plan.  

  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment compliant with WHS requirements. 

This position is an ongoing full-time opportunity (Monday to Friday).   


About You  

To be considered for this role, you will possess; 

Essential  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, or related field  

  • Proven track record in income generation, social enterprise development, and fundraising  

  • Strong network and relationship-building skills  

  • Drive and motivation to achieve and exceed financial targets  

  • High levels of influence and persuasion  

  • Event management experience  

  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen.  

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities  

  • Passion for promoting mental wellbeing.  

  • Passion for and alignment with Richmond Wellbeing’s vision, purpose, and values.  

  • Demonstrated values-led, customer-focused approach.  

  • Strong alignment with diversity and inclusion principles.  

  • Compassion and empathy for people experiencing mental distress.  

  • Capacity for self-reflection and ongoing personal and professional development.  

  • Ability to work collaboratively with an organisation-wide approach to positively shape and influence organisational culture.  

Desirable  

  • Lived experience of mental health recovery or as family members of people with a lived experience of recovery

Richmond Wellbeing is a leading WA mental health organisation, providing recovery-focused, community-based residential and outreach services for adults and young people. We support people experiencing mental distress to develop the confidence and skills to live their lives, employing evidence-based practice to support recovery and well-being.
