Our general insurance client is seeking a candidate with an actuarial background and a commercial mindset with an interest in moving into a non-traditional strategic role in Planning and Forecasting. This role is based in Sydney.
About the role
- Gather financial information and measure financial performance across the business to identify areas of improvement.
- Present findings to senior management to support effective decision making by the wider business.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the finance strategy.
- Assist with advancing and embedding of finance frameworks.
- Support with quarterly and annual forecasting, Planning and budgeting.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in actuarial.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in general insurance actuarial roles.
- Commercially aware and financially astute mindset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
