About the role:
This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Planning & Reporting stream Lead and responsible for contributing to the continuous development of Origin’s planning and reporting through the use of IBM Planning Analytics and simplification of processes, aiming for a data and analytics driven future.
Why this role matters?
-Lead and take ownership of the design, development and implementation of new planning and reporting models in IBM Planning Analytics system.
-Follow best practice design and implementation principals to maintain optimum system performance, intuitive user interfaces and minimise defects requiring remediation.
-Provide advice and support to the business, identify business requirements, and translate them into technical requirements.
-Ensuring seamless integration with other finance systems, data lakes and business processes.
-Provide ongoing support of IBM PA system including system performance, security, documentation, and automated workflows.
-Support and development of finance teams’ system and data use capabilities including ongoing training.
-Collaborating with and managing relationships across the finance and business functions.
-Continuous improvement of existing modules in response to changing business needs.
-Conduct complex data analysis and investigations where required to support business initiatives.
-Source data from Origin systems and data lake teams in accordance with the information and data architecture standards.
-Manage 1 Direct Report (IBM PA Developer).
What will you bring?
-Experience in Planning Analytics/TM1 development and modelling.
-Expertise in IBM PA/TM1 design and build, including Turbo Integrator Processes, Security, Rules and Feeders.
-Hands on involvement in full product lifecycle, encompassing upgrades and implementations.
-Proficient in translating business requirements into design and managing end to end project implementation.
-Knowledge about system hardware requirements and server configuration.
-Skilled in conducting complex data analysis and investigations to support business requirements.
-Make recommendation for improvements to the planning system, processes and models.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships across the business
