About the role:
The position, Manager – Procurement will work closely with all levels and areas within the organisation and is part of the senior leadership team. The position is responsible for the management of the organisation’s service and supplier contracts and related procurement activity, aligning to all requirements of legislative requirements pertaining to the NDIS Practice Standards.
Key responsibilities:
- The purchase of goods, services, and equipment for Mambourin at best value consistent with supply chain principles (Modern Slavery).
- Manage the procurement function including tendering, negotiating and contracting processes with suppliers of services and equipment, and will implement, measure and monitor KPI’s and SLA’s.
- Manage the asset management function for the organisation.
- Manage the fleet services management function for the organisation.
- Coordinating the supply of consumables and equipment to all Mambourin sites.
- Ensure that the organisation optimises its procurement outcomes in response to current and anticipated strategic and operational requirements.
- Develop internal relationships to facilitate engagement in procurement practices.
- Achieve targets for cost reduction while also improving and increasing service delivery.
Required skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably encompassing procurement or business administration.
- Minimum three years previous experience in procurement for a medium sized organisation with multiple sites.
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience in commercial procurement practices including tenders and proposals.
- Relevant experience in contract management and related document register system.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Victorian Driver’s License.
