Commonwealth Bank’s CommSec Division provides retail clients access to online broking and investment products, and geared solutions.

Our products include equities, international trading, investment lending, and derivatives.

This is a secondment position, concluding 25 July 2025.

The Line 1 Risk Chapter sits within the Product Domain, the central design and manufacturing team for CommSec, responsible for:

• Providing value to our customers; through ensuring our products and services are suitable, fair and transparent;

• Ensuring consistency, security and reliability of service;

• Making our processes easy for Customers to invest with us;

• Providing proactive and relevant support for  customers with their investment needs;

• Ensuring sustainable compliance, regulatory obligations are met and that we have an enhanced control environment to ensure we operate within CommSec and BB’s Risk appetite.

The Line 1 team is accountable for providing end to end risk support across the Product and Digital Domains under the Pace model. This includes ensuring product design and distribution compliance, control design and testing, customer remediation, regulatory change and policy change implementation, incident and issue management and root cause analysis.

On any given day you will:

The Manager role reports directly to the Chapter Lead - CommSec Product and Digital Non-Financial Risk.

Your role will be focused on effective management of risks within CommSec’s Product and Digital Domains, including control design, incident and issue management and remediation.

You will also support key projects and other day to day tasks as part of the Chapter or a particular aligned Pace squad to deliver the overall business objectives.
