You'll be responsible for:

• Driving and delivering Risk Management and Compliance activities for the Division.
• Lead and facilitate risk assessments, escalation and reporting to meet both local and Group requirements.
• Supporting the Head of Strategic Excellence with advising, monitoring, and executing on risk and compliance matters as and when they arise.
• Lead or support the development of a consistent and repeatable process to deliver thought leadership and external insights (including market scanning) with a focus on emerging risk and strategic risk.
• Support the setting and execution of the Division's strategic plan through scoping, analysis, and communication of strategic/change initiatives.
• Lead or support the strategic execution of a wide range of projects, initiatives, or Group requests through preparation of diagnostics, time, and motion analyses with guidance from the Head of Strategic Excellence.
• Contribute to driving innovation and operational improvements across the Division, through hypothesis testing, design thinking and agile delivery. Focus areas include, but not limited to development of divisional management insights, development of data analytics capabilities, adoption of innovative workplace technologies.
• Leading and coach team members to develop capabilities in structured problem solving.

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications in the relevant discipline.
• Extensive risk management experience acquired in a complex, matrixed financial services organisation and management consulting experience.
• Highly developed stakeholder management and engagement skills to influence and communicate change and implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Highly developed analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrating the capability to analyse and interpret complex information from a broad range of sources (locally and internationally) and to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence through structured presentations and story boards.
