Reporting to the General Manager Community Development, this important role is primarily responsible for:
- leading, motivating, developing and mentoring the Sport & Recreation Division;
- managing broad and large scale recreational planning projects and delivery of sports and club development programs and strategies;
- managing the contracts for major recreational sites and services such as Salisbury Aquatic Centre, Bridgestone Athletics Centre, Indoor Recreation Centres and the community bus;
- overseeing end of life services and the Salisbury Memorial Park;
- managing Council events and public art and developing new opportunities to celebrate Salisbury’s cultural diversity.
