About the Division - South Australian Sports Institute
The South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) is the High Performance Sports hub in South Australia. Its purpose is empowering people to achieve their sporting dreams and inspiring South Australians. SASI does this by:

Role Details
The Performance Support Manager role is a key member of the SASIManagement team with a primary focus to provide strategicleadership and to develop and implement strategies and systems toenable delivery of world class Performance Support. The role isalso responsible for the leadership and management of the Institutes performance disciplines including Sports Physiology, MovementScience, Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement, Sports Engineering,Medicine, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Nutrition. The roleinvolves extensive external stakeholder relationships with nationalsporting organisations, the Australian Institute of Sport andUniversities. Key performance areas include;
(i) efficient, effective and quality assured service provision andfacilities operations,
(ii) targeted and strategic service provision, project delivery andpartnership engagement to best achieve SASI key performanceindicators and strategic goals,
(iii) leadership and management execution to support the pursuit ofSASI culture and standards and,
(iv) stewardship to meet corporate reporting and compliancestandards.
The role will provide critical leadership in the design,specification and operationalisation of the new performanceservices facilities within the new SASI High Performance Hub.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
Essential Qualifications
- A current SA driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role working in the high performance sport sector.

$106,512 - $115,137 p.a.
