Provide leadership and operational management of the accommodation facilities at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the PositionAs the Manager Student Accommodation, you will provide vision, leadership, financial and operational management of the CDU accommodation facilities including International House Darwin, Alice Springs Student Accommodation (ASSA) and Katherine Student Accommodation (KSA). Leading and managing a professional team you will provide vison and guidance for the future direction for each facility and oversee the development of a comprehensive and diverse range of social, cultural, community service and personal development programs, events, and activities reflective of the diverse nature of the residential community.
About YouTo be successful, you will require:
A relevant post graduate qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing a Student Accommodation facility or experience in running an accommodation or service-oriented business.
Proven ability to implement initiatives to manage and improve business performance and systems to yield cost savings while still delivery a quality service/experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate staff ensuring productivity, morale and internal communication and collaboration levels are of a high standard.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively convey information, and where necessary, gain acceptance of ideas, interpret and when necessary formulate policy and procedure, and create operational and project plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven experience in negotiation and conflict resolution in a residential community of persons from an exceptionally diverse range of ages, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 9/10 salary. The base salary will be in the range of $119,610 to $140,256 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $139,943 to $164,099 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
