ING, Australia’s most recommended bank for the 3rd year running is looking for a Vendor Partnerships Manager, where you’ll be accountable for delivering market leading Vendor Management and Third Party Risk Management in order to continually improve ING’s key business partnerships.
You’ll be responsible for the establishment of a Centre of Excellence and leading a team of specialists (Vendor Managers & Outsourcing Managers) to deliver continual review of ING’s service agreements, regulatory requirements and end to end processes in order to achieve exceptional market leading customer experience, cost improvements, risk management and overall value driven outcomes for the bank.
You’ll be able to achieve this through your strong understanding and knowledge of the Bank’s service providers, expertise in vendor management including stakeholder relationships, effective expense management, skilled negotiations, risk management and robust vendor management.

What are you going to do? You will be…
- Providing input into agreements with key vendor & outsourcing partners, and subsequent contract renewal / review process
- Ensuring vendor is compliant with relevant third party regulatory requirements
- Designing, implementing and maintaining of Third Party & Outsourcing classification procedures and Risk Management Frameworks
- Coaching, training & mentoring team members and building rapport with other departments
- Monitoring and analysis of vendor spend against dynamic plan and forecasts
- Educating, developing and assisting in upskilling business teams on tools, processes, standards / policies and compliance obligations
- Supporting ad-hoc request from COO business teams and Business Controls Office to support business decision making and undertake key projects
- 10+ years’ experience in Vendor Management and / or Third Party Risk Management
- 5+ years’ experience in Leading Teams
- Experience with CPS 231 compliance
- Experience with contract life-cycle management & procurement processes
- An understanding of contractual agreements & commercial terms
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills
