We are truly a challenger brand, with challenger spirit.We're seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our Tech Foundations Tribe and lead the Living Network Platform squad.This squad is a team of 8 multi-disciplined engineers (software, systems, and mobile) and is accountable for the build and run of a platform that enables features which empower customers to control their use of the Optus network. These features include allowing customers to pause their use of the internet (Network Pause), to access a day of unlimited data usage (Unlimited Data Day), and to donate their spare mobile data to youth of Australia in need (Donate Your Data).As the Technical Product Manager, you will own the roadmap for the platform and apply a product mentality to its evolution; working with customers (internal product teams) to understand their needs, developing and evolving new and existing capabilities, and constantly seeking to improve the security and operational efficiency of the platform.Our Technical Product Managers come from varied engineering, product, or delivery backgrounds - it's not unusual to find past experiences such as Staff Engineer or Product Owner or Delivery Lead on their LinkedIn profiles. - Thought leadership, product management, and the engineering and operation of a scalable, reliable, and secure platform that meet business requirements and improves the efficiency of our feature teams.
- Working with internal customers - developers, builder teams, product and engineering leaders - to continuously improve their user experience.
- Finding opportunities to simplify processes and amplify value by adopting modern practices and technologies.
- Strong technical competency, especially with developer platforms, digital experiences, and/or cloud environments.
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager/Owner, Technical Lead, Technical Delivery Lead, or Senior Engineer.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate sophisticated technical environments with ease.
- 3 days in the office, 2 days remote - with flexible hours to suit!
