Managing Director | Boutique Creative Agency With the current MD moving into a global role, this agency is looking for a new Managing Director to lead the Sydney agency. Key focus areas include driving business growth and commercial performance, motivating and galvanising the Sydney team, building strong client engagement, and raising the agency’s industry reputation. The role comes with significant scope for growth and would suit an ambitious self-starter who’s well connected and committed to leading an agency into a new and exciting chapter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong engagement with senior clients and provide governance for all key growth clients
• Drive the commercial performance of the AU business
• Lead new business opportunities, and spot opportunities for organic growth
• Motivate, inspire and support the team, being present wherever possible
• In partnership with the ECD & Strategy Director, look to improve the quality of our creative product
• Build and maintain strong peer relationships with UK & US colleagues
• Activate initiatives for client and staff retention
• Spot talent internally & externally and play an active role in recruitment
• Raise agency reputation gaining regular PR coverage in trade press
• Support DE&I initiatives implemented via global HR team

The Ideal Candidate:

• 12+ years agency experience, integrated Creative Agency background preferred
• An ambitious self-starter; someone excited to run a small agency
• Extensive integrated Creative Agency experience (breadth across brand, creative, digital, social, events, PR)
• Proven leader (Experienced GAD/Client Partner/Managing Partner/CSD)
• Business savvy: the ability to spot opportunities to grow revenue
• Strong New Business track record, enjoy networking & leading pitches
• Commercially strong with experience in driving top line growth and margin excellence
• Superior Client engagement skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Resilience, Will to win, Confidence, Humility
