Premier People are seeking Manual CNC Machinists and a Mechanical Fitter for the roles below, these will be fulltime roles based in Welshpool to start ASAP.
Hours worked at are usually 42.5hr per week. 38hrs are paid at the normal rate and anything over 38hrs is paid as overtime.
Pay Rate negotiable depending on experience
1 x Mechanical Fitter (Fitter & Turner Qualification desirable)
1 x Manual/CNC Machinist
1 x Experienced Cylinder Head Machinist
To excel in this position, it is imperative that you possess prior experience along with verifiable qualifications, skills and experience,
Key responsibilities include:

- Operate all manner of CNC machines
- Machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Sets up and operate machines
- Inspects or measures work, using rule, gauges, and templates
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:
- Previous CNC Lathe experience
- CNC qualifications essential
- Precision engineering on small components
- G and M code experience
- 3-5 Axis exposure
