As a QA Engineer you will be part of a highly collaborative team where you will be working very closely with teams consisting of engineers, product managers, business analysts, stakeholders and leadership. In the role you will help set the Framework for the teams and strive for best practices.You will contribute to developing manual tests and conduct hands-on and manual tests among other standard quality assurance activities.You will be responsible for monitoring the software development life cycle to ensure quality.This includes but is not limited to developing manual test cases, optimizing test execution, and reporting application defects. This role is expected to help increase test throughput and product delivery by helping to increase test coverage in a shorter amount of time.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute end to end manual test cases, track results, and log defects.
2. Create, execute, and maintain manual test scripts to meet software release deliverables.
3. Work closely with developers to address defects in a timely manner, identify root causes, and determine ways to prevent in the future.
4. Collaborate with teams to identify testing opportunities and understand impact of system changes.
5. Identify gaps in test coverage, and make recommendations on priority and how best to fill them.

Requirements:

1. At least five or more (5+) years of manual experience and/or software development experience.
2. Good to have prior or current product experience in the Javascript framework
3. Excellent knowledge of web and mobile testing including regression testing, smoke testing, performance and load testing, API testing etc
4. Experience of creating and implementing effective functional and non-functional test cases
5. Hands-on experience with BDD
6. Knowledge of software performance testing techniques
7. Self-starter that can perform with minimal direction
8. Experience in detail-oriented mobile apps testing for user experience, mobile app design and pixel-perfection, functionality, accessibility, regression, security, availability.
9. While you'll be part of a team, working in the current remote environment, requires an ability to take ownership over your work, in terms of timelines and development quality.
