We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced production engineer to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this onsite based role will
- develop and implement jigs and fixtures for manual and automated welding
- design parts stillage for products
- create detailed drawings in adherence to Australian Standards
- design continuous improvement solutions
- ensure solutions meet safety and regulatory standards
- will work closely with production as well as suppliers
What We're looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Proven Experience in engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong design experience and knowledge in design principles
- Experience designing jigs and fixtures for fabrication
- FEA/ANSYS experience is desirable
- Ability to train and implement new procedures and processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
