AddressWe have two Engineering roles with a global manufacturer of agricultural machinery, construction equipment, engines, and other heavy equipment.
the role involves undertaking a range of compliance and engineering tasks to ensure imported equipment and products are safe and suitable for sale in the Australasian market.
The ideal candidate will have a good depth of knowledge in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components as well as a strong practical understanding of how they perform to ensure a safe and compliant testing facility and product.
Key Accountabilities:
- With direction and instruction or guidance as appropriate, undertake engineering activities on Agriculture, Construction and OEM products
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and legislative/regulatory requirements.
- Generate technical reports and documents to communicate requirements and findings
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with dealers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Promote workplace safety by following OHS policies and supporting the safety of self, team, and others.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Automotive)
- Experience in a similar Technical Engineer position with hands on engineering experience in a professional and/or personal setting; Experience safely using a range of hand and power tools
- Knowledge in interpreting electrical and hydraulic circuit diagrams
- Significant technical writing and report writing experience
- Expertise in the use of a range of applications, including the MS Office Suite/ Google Suite, CAD software (Solidworks/ Onshape)
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required 10-15% of the year as and when needed.
