We are part of a global manufacturers and marketers of a broad range of fabricated high-performance OEM and aftermarket products for some of the blue chip On and Off-highway Customers. Globally we employ over 3000 people in 20 locations. Our product range includes mufflers and exhaust tube assemblies and accessories.
Reporting to the General Manager Key Responsibilities responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for end-to-end value chain from Raw materials warehouse, manufacturing process, FG Warehouse and Outbound logistic. Prioritization and execution with high level focus on customer value and waste elimination.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Lead and drive Lean and CI cultural transformation throughout the organization.
- Coaching and mentoring cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities in all processes.
- Manage savings targets for continuous improvement efforts.
- To control and maintain all aspects of Operations to ensure availability of Saleable products required by the Customer.
- Ensure Safety of all shop floor employees
- Ensure machines & equipment are maintained.
- To work with Purchasing, oversee Planning to improve delivery efficiency and cost competitiveness.
- Support Production Team Leaders to allow him/her to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
- Control day to day Plant labor planning for team size of 40
- Participate as an active member of the Leadership Team.

Critical Functional and Technical Skills
- Computer skills. (MS Office suite, Pronto ERP, etc.)
- Manufacturing /Operations management proven track record
- Drawing interpretation skills
- Safety training
- Quality system and problem-solving knowledge.
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous Improvement
- Knowledge of safety and environmental management systems
