Woods & Co Recruitment have teamed up with a national industry leader in the staircases industry. We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join their ranks.
Working on a Monday to Friday basis reporting directly to the Production Manager, as a Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations and ensuring efficient production, whilst making decisions directly relating to duties and the warehouse environment.

What do you do?
- Monitor and coordinate the activities of production employees, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop production schedules that align with customer demands and optimise resource allocation.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
- Identify training needs within the production team and develop training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
What do you need:
- Previous supervisory experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
- Leadership experience and understanding of manufacturing and production operations.
- High level of attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and organisation.
- Forklift (LF) license is preferred but not mandatory.
