The opportunity:Provide a positive learning experience for students and park guests by facilitating educational programs, presentations, initiatives, and guest interactions throughout the park and undertake the associated administrative tasks.
Your day to day:• Facilitate educational programs for all visiting students and provide park guests with an educational learning experience while interacting with the animals on display at Sea World• Perform educational/host roles in Animal Adventure programs such as Glass Bottom Boat tours, Polar Bear tours and Ray Reef feeds.• Deliver engaging in-park presentations at our animal exhibits to provide information to guests on the biology, welfare and conservation of a variety of species.• Assist in the implementation and updating of educational programs delivered in the park • Respond to communication from students and members of the public on issues of relevance to the marine environment and Sea World• Guide snorkelling programs for park guests to provide the highest level of safety for the guests and the animals
What you’ll bring:• Teaching qualification is preferred• Recreational ship masters licence essential• Knowledge of the marine environment and conservation issues within the marine environment is preferred• Public speaking experience is essential• Senior First aid certificate required• CPR and Oxygen provision required
