We are seeking a unique person with a connection to the sea and a desire to protect life on the water. Kick start your career in Marine Safety with our small and friendly Melbourne team. We provide extensive on the job and formal training to service life rafts, plus other Marine Safety equipment.
The ideal candidate requires the following attributes:
Current Driver's License & ability to drive a Manual
Fork Lift Licence an advantage
Good communication skills
Trustworthy, hardworking and reliable
Full appreciation for the work that is required and its potential to save lives
Positive attitude, motivated to work, team player
Ability to follow strict procedures and produce all relevant documentation.
Physical fitness and agility
Interest in the marine industry
Willingness to study, learn and take responsibility
A strong recognition of the value of customers and the necessity to meet their requirements.
Prior experience in the life raft industry is not required.
This is a permanent, full-time position, starting at $29hr Super, annual, sick leave and public holidays. Salary review after training completed. We are based in Mordialloc with onsite parking and plenty of local cafes. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm *Prior to commencement, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of having obtained two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination.
