AddressJurien Bay Oceanic Experience is a premier provider of tours in the Jurien Bay Marine Park. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences while fostering a deeper appreciation for marine conservation and education.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Marine Tour Guide for the winter season (May - October).
Responsibilities
- Conduct and guide engaging and informative in-water and on deck Marine Tours, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the marine environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the tour.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of marine life and conservation principles.
- Assist in the maintenance and presentation of the vessels and equipment to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Contribute to the overall success of the operation, ensuring guests have a memorable and educational experience throughout its entirety.
- Ensure the safety of guests by strictly adhering to safety and marine park protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in Marine Tourism or a related field.
- Dive Master qualification or higher
- Demonstrated vessel and rope skills knowledge.
- Passion for customer service and the ocean.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
- Further marine qualifications and experience
- Hospitality experience
